(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

C | Net has a smackdown thing going on between the Moto RAZR V3 and the Blackberry 7100g....

Right now the V3 has 54 % of votes and Blackberry 7100g has 44%..

Please go visit and vote for the 7100g...it's about time Blackberry was recognized by the general population for their excellent hardware/software!!

http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-3000_7...l?tag=cnetfd.sd

Lets go Blackberry! I think it's only valid for today so vote now!

The topic title should probably be designed to attract non-7100 users, such as:
"URGENT: VOTE the BlackBerry 7100 over RAZR V3! [CNet Poll]"

However, even many of us 72XX users prefer the 71XX series over the RAZR V3 for actually getting things done.
(V3 being lots of impressive flash but no productivity substance)

Voted.

Posted by: Mark Rejhon

It leaped from 44% to 46.7% .... Keep going!

[Edit: It leaped forward further to 47.1% then fell backwards to 46.9% and then to 46.7%]

Posted by: Mark Rejhon

BlackBerry has leaped forward to 48.5% ... but stalled again. Falling back to 48.4% so we are still losing.

If you have not voted, you should go vote, so BlackBerry wins!

ALLLRIGGGHHT!! Us Blackberry users are helping the 7100g kick the Moto's ***!!!!

BB 7100g: 52%
Moto: 47%

HOOORAY!! Keep it up!

Remember, more people buy Blackberry, lower prices, more accessories, more third-party software, just a win-win!

Posted by: I have a phone

sad thing is most of the people voting probably don't use either device

I have a Razr, and I'm about to get the 7100g. The Razr is great, but I need something with more data capability. These are both different kinds of phones. This is like arguing over which is better, a Porsche 911 or a Range Rover. If you live in Alaska, your answer may be different than if you live in Arizona.

haha....that pole jumped quite a bit in the last few hours in favour of the BB.

yah i noticed that as well.. BB leads 55% now haha

These people look at the razor as a cool phone not knowing that it actually sucks when used.

Posted by: tankee531

BB now at 56.6%

Posted by: Mark Rejhon

Correction, 55.5%.

That has been a dramatic reversal, thanks to BlackBerryCool.com / HowardForums.com / BlackBerryForums.com / RIMROAD.com / and a bunch of other BlackBerry sites :-) .... That shows how big the BlackBerry community is! The vote trend reversed at about 4:00pm EST, when the word hit the BlackBerry community.

The poll has not yet closed.... I think it probably closes a little later. So keep voting, so we don't fall behind!

Posted by: RCasanova

hehe yah I saw someone had posted them at all these communities including the BB developers forum

It does not "suck". I've had a lot of cell pones, and this one is by far the best "phone". It pulls a great signal, has a great speaker phone, voice dial, excellent screen, etc.

But it is not a data device. So that is why I just ordered a 7100g. But the Razr is certinaly a great phone in a very tiny package. It is probably the best "phone" on the market.

That's why this has to be one of the dumbest "polls" ever. Let's compare two devices that serve different purposes. If you want to compare a blackberry to something, compare it to a P910, or a PocketPCPhone device (not a smartphone). That's a relevant comparison.

Yah I was thinking the same thing. Apples to Oranges.

58.7 for the BB .. w00

honestly whoever made this poll was not thinking, actually was he/she even breathing?

nomater what they compared it to i would vote against the motorolla unit, i have a big thing against their quality control issue, just my thing though...

does anyone really like the razor, so many of my friends told me it is not worth it..

anyway BB's forever!.. lets keep that number climing..

The Razr is really great. As for the question of if its worth what it costs, I'm not sure any non-smartphone is worth as much as they charge for the Razr. But it's the best of all the phones out there. If someone just uses a cell phone to talk on the phone, and does not use data, they cannot do any better than the Razr.
