hey guys i tried to send a music clip to my phone. i converted it into 3gp format, but when i send it to my phone(vie MPT), the size, or the resolution drops and it looks like crap, any suggestions on how i can keep the quality same?

MPT does that. it also reduces the quality of ur mp3's for the same reason: to save space.

now i'm not too sure if there're 'better' ways, but there is definately another way. This is one of the ways used by one of our moto g0ds in hofo (and yes, the author is the aforementioned 'moto g0d')

and i THINK if u try transfering it via bluetooth instead of MPT it might be better.

Yea but after i make the 3gp file and try to send it to my fone it reduces the quality. is there any other program that i can use to transfer the video file?

Do it with p2kman. It will not touch the original resolution of 3GP you made.

I don't think MPT does that if you are just using the program to upload the files....If you are creating a video with that program, then maybe yes...but if you create the video or ringtone with another method and just use MPT to upload it to your pho,e it shouldn't touch the file size or quality.

maybe u're right. i MIGHT be misunderstanding it process... but when i use MPT to open an mp3 so that i can send it to my phone it reads for a LOOOONG time, and it automatically changes it to 32kps or sth... and like some wotever mhz...
or is that not sth done by mpt?

haha i was surprised to see this thread replyed to, but good thing u searched
well i solved my problem by using mpegable. its a program that converts it for u, but i still use MPT to transfer to my phone, and it does not touch it. U might have hard time finding the full version of mpegable so i will convert it for u. just send the video to me and specify which fone is it for. (mail is mikedzadza @ hotmail dot com) im on, if u send it within 10 mins i will convert it and mail it back. then use mpt to transfer it. it will work.

Dude, you are great. Thank for offering. However, there are several video that I want to record, can you please tell me the whole program. I will try to find it
Just to let you know, I used WEB CAM to record a 5 sec video in .AVI Then convert to 3GP and MP4. Then transfer using MPT and Bluetooth. Both don't work. So I went online and download a FREE 3GP video and use MPT and bluetooth, both ways work perfectly, they did not spoil the video. So I don't think the problem is with MPT.
Anyways., please help more with the program you talked about
thanks
