Anyone using a NEC N840 in USA?

Just wondering if anyone is using a NEC n840 in the usa with a carrier like Tmobile? Does text messaging ect working fine? are all menues in english?
I just don't want to get a N840 if text messaging or the reception wasn't good in the states. Any other info from your experiances with the phone in the usa for good or bad i'd like to know!

yeah i use it with tmobile. everything works fine.

How easy was it? Just put the sim card in and good to go? Or did some of the network settings have to be changed?
