Can I change the default alarm ringers on my vx4500?

I have a VX4500. I would like to change the default ringer that the alarms use, rather than having to change it each time I set an alarm.

I can find no such setting in the phone, and I especially want to change the ringer for the quick alarm.

Does anyone know how to do this as a global, permanent change? Even if it means hacking an .ERI file, I'm up for it.
