A buddy of mine has the phone and we are totally lost in how to set it up on wap.
Could someone post the instructions on how to make that phone work??

By default, the browser should do WAP automatically. Did you mean you need to know how to go to a WAP site not part of Vision Home?

example, I am running the proxy server here, so how to change it to hit the server and not the carrier.

Ok, Sanyo phones seem to be prety standardized inthat regard. I'll give you the way I do it for the 2500, and it SHOULD work for the 5500 (I don't have one to test it with right now).

When logged into Vision Home, press the right soft key (the one above the "back" button on my phone). That should pop up a menu.

On my phone, option 7 is "go to URL". It will then ask you for an address, or to use a past input. Highlight "adress", and press OK.

Press the right soft key again (for "Edit"), and it should allow you to enter in your own URL.
