Yes and Yes.
I have been using it primarily for my work PPC, but grabbed the smartphone drivers and it works great.
It works a LOT better than the infrared keyboards.

I too use this for my PPC, and now use it for adding appointment details into my MPx220.
Works great.
note: If you use the secure connections setting, then I recommend that you use a numeric security code - and the code needs to be the same between the PPC and the smartphone.
Mine keyboard is bonded with both devices (I am careful to only have one with the BT Keyboard active at a time!)

Great keyboard. I've been using it for over a month, no problems. Makes email & web browsing easy. You should be able to find it around 80-90$ though...
