Sync Z500a with Outlook Help Needed

Newbie here so please go easy on me. Just rec'd my DCU-11 cable (non OEM) and installation disk. Also d/L the DCU drivers and Sync Station from Sony. I could not get the Sony drivers to install. So I attempted to install from the non OEM CD and that indicated it was installing "USB to Serial Controller" driver. Is this the correct process? I'd appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. If that is the correct driver, how do I proceed to sync with Outlook? I've searched the net, but can't find directions. Thanks

first you need to get the pc recognise the phone.

DCU 11 non oem is a headache... get an IR port or a BT dongle. both are faster and worth the money.... trust me.

This model doesn't have BT.
