I found this info posted in another thread, I don't know if this will work or not:

Nokia 9300 (not confirmed) and Nokia 9500 (based on link below):

1. Turn off phone and take out battery
2. Insert battery, and while it boots up press and hold Ctrl + Shift + F
3. After a few seconds you will be asked if you want to format or cancel

Yes, the procedure mentioned above resets the phone to factory defaults... mostly. Some settings seem to remain. At least some options in the Golf game seem to survive.

The following codes work on a Nokia 9300 (European version):

*#06# IMEI (Serial) number
*#0000# Software version, date and model number
*#92702689# (*#war0anty#) Call timers

The following also seem to be implemented, but I am not sure what they do... use at your own risk:

#pw+1234567890+1# Provider Lock Status
#pw+1234567890+2# Network Lock Status
#pw+1234567890+3# Country Lock Status
#pw+1234567890+4# SIM Card Lock Status
(use the "*" button to obtain the "p,w" and "+" symbols)

Any others?

The pw passwords unlock the phone for other SIM cards as well as the ability to roam on other networks. It depends on which aspects of the phone the original provider locks.

I can confirm that these reset instructions work for the 9300, I just did it

Neat, thanks for the confirmation

The Procedure (CTRL-SHIFT-F) Formats the Phone memory(hard disk if you will )
However it does NOT reset the Security codes of the phone. So if anyone wants to reset the Security code or for that matter SIM PIN Code (not the UNLOCK code), they will have to look elsewhere.

I don't know if the Moderator would be cool with any details on the elsewhere

Mr. Moderator are you listening ?
