Any secured password keeper app that's better than CodeWallet Pro?

I got this code wallet pro as a free app from handango when they had their free app a week promotion. The way this app works is that it keeps a backup of your wallet file on your local drive with extention of .wal. The funny thing is, if you try to open the file using notepad, you can actually see the user name and passwords. I was hoping that it would be encrypted. Do you guys have any app like this that's secured? I just think this code wallet pro is crap. Thanks!!!

No it's not, but obviously, sometimes you get what you pay for.
