Kyocera KOI KX2 on Cellular One Help!

Hello All,

I usually do not post questions until I have exhausted all searches and done my reading. I bought a bunch of koi's from a guy that were all on Cellular One...brand new. I wanted to turn them on for our family plan on Verizon.

Well....much to my dismay the spc code is not all zero's....it is something else. So I ventured on and got BITPIM so that I could read the hex dump of the nvm_security file.

Bitpim works to the point that it reads the directory structure...reads everything with the included data cable from Kyocera. Now then..w.hen I do a hex dump I get an exception error in BitPim and no hex code to read. I have tried everything that I can think of....port speeds, flow controls, etc.

Can anyone give me any advice. I have also tried many kyocera unlock apps...they all read the phone but dont detect the existing spc code... therefore I cannot change it to zero's.

Please help.....

Thanks in Advance.

you are gonna meed to get KPST or go somewhere that Has KPST. But you have a problem, most verizon stores have no clue how to use thier kpst and wont take phones on thier network that u didnt buy from them. Id take em back and buy em from verizon.

I have KPST but it wont do a thing without the spc code. The problem is to get the spc code....

Thanks anyway.

if u had kpst then it would be shown in the general tab 4th from the top.

Unfortunately KPST requires the spc code to read from the phone... I tried that. Eventually, believe it or not, I got the spc code from the service provides...begged and pleaded them to death.
