Am I Doing Somethig Wrong?

A few weeks ago I starting browsing the howardforums to see what I would need to get my LG C1300 hooked up with my pc.

I learned that I needed to find out the correct software and I needed a data cable with the little box in the middle.

I went on eBay and bought this cable/driver cd combo - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=5747718720.
Anyway, I also downloaded both BitPim and QPST and neither worked. BitPim gave me this message: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...cellproblem.jpg (click link for screenshot)

I updated all the drivers from the cd and all and even checked it.

What am I doing wrong?
Any help appreciated.
