Lags sometimes while typing MMS messages??

sometimes while I'm at around .7kb-1.4kb I get a bit of lag while typing my messages, it takes about 2-4 seconds for the letters to appear, it only goes for about 2 lines then it goes back to normal.. but it doesn't always happen.
anyone know what causes this and why it only happens sometimes? It's really annoying and can make typing messages take ages..

probably has something to do about your ram?
