From my last year's T610-T630 convertion, T610 emblem light mod, to my K700i's power button mod, to orange softkeys mod. I'm still modding ma cell phones, still being different and unique. Still helping you perform this mods too

I'm getting bored again and need a new mod suggestion.
My mods can can not include software, only hardware modding/adding.
Anyone with suggestions, please post or msg me.

The ultimate for me would be a proper zoom lens (be it manul, and not motor driven :P ) on a phone!

Or, you could change your LED light, perhaps the colour.

There is the obvious one of changing your quickshare logo! If you want suggestoins just ask!

Thx, for the somewhat good suggestions :P

Zoom lens may be something you need, but would you want some stupid ugly round thing sticking out of your phone? I don't. So that is not something I will attempt to change.

If you're talking about the LED that acts as a flash for the camera, yes I can change the colour, but do I really want ppl to look like aliens in my pictures? So again, not a good mod.

Quickshare logo I would change if I could make a thick sticker like the logo is. So Since the only stickers we can make are paper thin and it would look kinda stupid, I'll leave that the way it is as well.

If you're gonna suggest, suggest something that is usefull and possible. (I honestly don't know how you would plan to stick a manual lens on the back of the phone... You know how big those things are?!

LOL!

I did not mean a full manual lens!

I meant a little lens adapter of sorts. Perhaps a little lens that just covers the current one. But yes, its a little redundant.

Also, I do not know how thick the sticker is on the k750, but on my s700i, it seems quite thin, unless its a fully molded part.

If it is not fully molded, you could ask a signmakers to make a small thin piece of plastic to fit the phone. I am sure you could get a thin peice of plastic, and have the signmakers use vynle printing ect for the image.

Could you find a spare SE logo off a broken phone (ebay?) or similar, for the joystick/centre button?

I am not shure what extra you could do to a phone... extra large vanity mirror?

Ok, you're a little clearer this time.

About the lens. Its possible to use a lens like vision correction glasses lens which would work quite fine, but that would not make it adjustable. Any adjustable lens I don't find usefull because it would definately be too big. And even the one from glasses, that would simply zoom in a little, but what is the use? You will no longer be able to take close up pictures, you'll always have to stand somewhat futher away.

As for the sticker. Just a simple no. Its a thick rubber sticker that is about 3-4 mm thick at the top side, about 2 mm at the bottom. Its curved around the sides. It would simply be too hard and it would cost to make something like that. Just stick to the original, after all, it does say our favorite name "Sony Ericsson".

As for the joystick. I have a T300 which I could swipe the emblem off of, but it would stick out too high, I might have to shave the joystick. I will think about it, thx for the idea. But that would mean making my T300 look robbed, lol.

Extra large mirror? I don't enjoy taking pictures of myself, so I'll pass on that :P

As an update: I changed the softways colour from orange to a light blue. The orange was unprofessional looking though it looked good. Yet the blue sucks. I'm gonna have to look into purple. I like the S700 keys colour.

Ok, a little update.

The idea about sticking an SE emblem on the joystick sounded pretty interesting and I looked around and thought about how it can be done and I came to this conclussion: The only emblem small enough to fit the joystick is the one from the K700 itself, but you can't use that one. Though it so happens that the headphones have emblems

So one can be removed from there. Then the joystick would need shaving to make it flat so you can glue the emblem on it, and so it will be shorter because the embelm would give it a 2-3 mm extention, easily. And that would cause unwanted jostick clicks and a bit of a weird look. Like a **** sticking out, lol. Sorry for the language.

I would prefer to stick a led in it too, but I don't think there's the space for that. So I'll stick with just the emblem. Right now I don't know what to shave the joystick with, so any ideas would be appreciated. I don't have any special tools, so don't suggest some kind of special tool, or something from the store.

Lol... Personnally, I would check ebay for cheap parts, as I would not want to break my phone...

I do not know how the buttons are made, but if the cover seperates from the rubber backing, you could take of the plastic. Then shave it into size, and stick the logo on.
Is the k750 button smaller than the s700?

Perhaps a drill would work... or a steady hand and a blade :P .

Would not want you messing up the phone though.

I'm not gonna do anything to the joystick. I like it the way it is and if I stick the emblem on it, it will lose grip, so forget that.

Any other mods?

I really want the friggin shutter sound off, its pissing me off, and apperantly there is no way that it will shut off, I tried everything.

Yes there is, search the main SE forums, and there is a link to a tutorial, with files on how to remove the sounds. It replaces your firmware (you need the cable). What they did was delete the sound file/change it on the firmware
