warranty question

Once i get through to palm, i want to get my treo 600 repaired.... now for some reason, theres spots on the screen, almost like sun spots...i'm almost certain this is NOT covered.....
however, recently, the treo 600 will not carry the wireless mode... it drops for no reason... i KNOW this is covered...
The question is, if i send it in for repair and only request them to fix the second problem, will they have any basis to charge me because of problem A? (i.e out of warranty?)

Yes, the problem you described is covered by warranty.
I just got my 600 back from P1 to have the same problem repaired. I think they sent me a refurb unit. Other than the initial 45 minute wait to talk to a CSR everything went smoothly.
