Using ATT Mmode on Cingular Branded s710a...

Question:

I have an AT&T account and recently purchased an unlocked Cingular Branded s710a. --All the pre-set Internet icons are for Cingular's Media Net system.

I took off all the Data Com. and Internet settings and installed the settings for AT&T Mmode. (APN: proxy, IP 10.250.250.250, etc. ) Here's what I get

My email (an IMAP account accessible directly from the messages menu on the phone) works fine...in other words the phone is making some type of successful GPRS connection. When I try to access internet services using the Media Net icon, it tries to connect then says that there is a connection problem...please contact ISP...etc.
I've tried the internet settings both for WAP and HTML...neither works.

Has anyone figured this out...anyone have any suggestions as to what might work?

AT&T does not have S710a settings on the setup tools --closest thing is the Z500a-- and like I said, some data is being transferred...just cant get internet to work.

HELP, anyone?

I am only able to get to mMode buy using the Cingular X key on the keypad (directly below the * key)
