I've been using the JAM with either the HS810 or the 820 without any issue, and today I received the unlocked GSM 650 and everything went fine, except I need to manually press the button on the headsets (either one is the same) to "transfer" the call to the headset on an outgoing call, IOW, it's not automatic after I press DIAL.

Is this right? or am I doing something wrong. Never had come across this since my last Treo has no B/T.

That's right. The headset needs to support the handsfree profile which the Treo 650 uses. Those headsets only support the headset profile.

Thanks Joe. I guess I am more impressed from my upgrade to the JAM than the upgrade from a 600->650 thus far, so many of the apps I use now require newer versions, and still no work around on VFS type backup yet.....

the hs810 supports both headset and handsfree. i haven't gotten my treo yet, so i am not sure if there is something you aren't doing or if it supposed to be that way.

but it does support both profile, the hs810 that is.

According to P1's page below, the MOTO requires a press to transfer sound to the headset, that bites!!!

What about Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset?
Does that require a button press or is it automatic?
