SX66 After Update

Updated my sx66 from thier site and now my back light comes on at random. Strange thing is when I touch the screen when this happens the screen does not regester the tap. I have to hit the power button to get the screen to work. Its running down the battery. Any fix for this?

its probably becuase you turned off the protection for the front screen when u hit it it stays on. turn off the tap screen to turn back on portion!!!

No actually thats not it. I can hit the power button to put it into sleep mode and sit it down right in frount of me on the table and it still does it without ever being touched

That's how mine acted sometimes before the update, but not since.

Also had the "auto-on" problem before the update... No problems after the update.

Yeah mine is just the the othere way.. maybe I shouldn't have updated it

Are you running xsprite backup? I had to remove my xsprite backup app after my upgrade because it caused my SX66 to behave the same way, the screen would come on every few minutes. The de-installation of xsprite all is well.

I do have a problem after the upgrade that I have not seen a post for. Maybe because we in America do not use SMS but I am travelling in Europe where I do a lot of SMS since my upgrade I cannot receive SMS although I have no problem sending SMSs.

I have tried different SIMs from different provider with the same result. the same SIM send and receive SMS from my other phone with no issues. Any one have a clue if this is related to the upgrade?

No not using xsprite.... wish I had an answer
