Is this a new phone from Bell? I saw it here: http://www.comparecellular.com/comp...ID=381&r=&p=&f=
Is it any good?

Yes, we are getting it on March 22nd.
It will be our first PTT model, it does look pretty sweet. There is another PTT Sanyo coming out a bit later, which is a bar phone, with a stock 1700 mah extended battery included
Both models look pretty good, Sanyo has a very high satisfaction level from customers.
Usually get very good RF.

shhh dont call it PTT...call it 10-4 phone

10-4 is a PTT solution (or rather a service marketing name). PTT is the principle of all Push To Talk devices. It doesn't refer to a perticular protocol, brand, network or anything :/

Then some couple of hundred companies are infringing that trademark...

We've been using the abbrev. PTT for FRS radios and walkie-talkies, CBs and such for over 10 years, way before MiKE came in.

According to the NUANS database...
Telus have registered the trademark "Push To Talk" and "PTT" in Canada... Nextel registered "Push to Talk" and "PTT" in the US...
