Tried the installer. Wow that looked like a virus for a second.
Usually when you have an installer, you tell people that you are going to check for the newest version to download, not just try and sneak it by them (BitDefender caught that.)

Tried your software...
1) the Desktop software installed and has the satellite which is colored green - I assume that it's working properly (as per your PDF)
I downloaded the alx/cod file for the 4 digit model numbers (I have a 6710 (8MB version, NOT 16 MB) running 3.6.073 (which is the most current version of handheld (hh) code for my model of blackberry as per my Service provider. I'm also running Desktop Manager (DM) version 3.6.3.10
Upon loading the ALX file, there is no icon showing up/being displayed on the menu of my blackberry.
I have confirmed in (DM) that it has installed properly, I have also checked the on the BB Options>Applications
I'm InTouch Messenger 1.0.1.1
- viewing the module information/properties I see
Name: IITMesenger
Type: Application

Applications:
I'm InTouch Messenger
So I'm 100% sure it's installed on the Blackberry and 110% sure it's running on my computer, but no Icon to launch the program on the BB itself. I have also tried "show all icons", still doesn't show up. I've removed/readded the program via application loader, rebooted and still no icon shows up. I have also scrolled through ALL the icons to ensure I'm not retarded ;-)
Incase the program requires me to be connected to the network, I do have GPRS (aka uppercase GPRS) and 4 bars of signal.
-----------
Just to update you, I rebooted a few more times and now the icon is showing up. Don't know what that was all about.
I now try to launch the program and I get an error message
Error starting
IITMessenger: Module 'net_rim_bbapi_menuitem' not found
<option to click ok>
So there's probably still a few bugs to work out with getting the icon to show up on the BB itself -> could just as easily be my blackberry!
But I have no idea what to do with that error message as the program will NOT launch on the device. Any suggestions?

We are going to contact RIM regarding this error. It is possible that some Blackberry's with errors like this are missing some software components on the device, since it is the slimmed down version.
I will keep u posted.
Thank you for trying I'm InTouch
