hi i have a se p800 that has developed a fault when i plug the charger in if the phone is turned on nothing happens, and if the phone is turned off it starts up charges for about 5 seconds then stops and keeps repeating on off....etc i have tried different batteries and chargers... please any advice

I had a similar problem with my p800 I just bought. As with any phone that has charging problems I always clean/gently scratch the contacts on the charger, phone (where the charger plugs in) on the battery and the contacts on the phone that meets the battery. I always use the mrs manicure scissors coz there nice and sharp and thin. Take great care and only apply very light pressure coz these contacts aren't very thick. (my p800 is charging fine now (battery holds more charge too!)
