so. got my phone in the mail today. started playing with it.. im loving it. got it new off ebay for 190 shipped. it has an active flip and everything. so thats cool..

on the size issue that i have been reading about, i dont know why anyone would be complaining about the size. its not much bigger if any as an average flip phone.

i put some ringtones on it. i can see how some people would say its quiet, but ive only noticed this for certain tones. most are about average for ringtone volume on a cell.

after a few hours of owning it i...................

[sarcasm]and added something totaly necessary[/sarcasm]
lol

figured if i was buying a memory for it, might as well go big. guess ill never have to delete pics... ever.

the phone is so slow itll take ages for the 1gb pics thumbnails to come up lol

So, how did you go about changing the color of the "Blue Strip". I can't really tell from the pics posted. Did you paint, if so, how, and did you remove it to paint and then reapply, or did you just cover it? What color did you paint it? It looks black in the pic.

And, yeah, with a 1 Gig card, you will never use it all...

its black.

its vinal.. as in like vinal sticker. (made my own skin / wrap) whatever you want to call it.

it turned out really nice.. just took a couple trys and some patients to get it right.

The ringtones are quiet, i thought it wasnt at first but it was in my room where it was quiet. If you took your phone outside to a street with cars going, then turn it to the loudest volume, you would hardly hear it. But the change of color on your cellphone looks nice, i might try customizing it too.

Beat the quiet ringtones by loading your own. There are a bunch of good ones on the "sticky ringtone" thread on this forum. I refuse to pay for stuff I can get for free. I downloaded a bunch of the ringtones from that thread. They are definitely louder than the standard ones on the phone.

I also downloaded the converter and have created some of my own! I was amazed at how easy it is. good luck.

How'd you get a 1GB SD Card to work in it? The manual says it will only accept up to a 512 mb SD Card.

I've read somewhere that TM-150 do accept 1GB SD card. Maybe by the time TM-150 manual published, 1GB SD haven't release/not popular enough. So, they didn't proof and put that in the manual/spec.

it does accept the 1gb memory card , but it takes a long time for it to read it ... dude what screwdriver did you use to change the faceplate? I ordered one from Ebay and this moron sent me the wrong screwdriver, it has like 6 spokes and the one on the phone has only 5, please let me know so that I can order one

How did you change your face plate and where did you get it?
OK its vinyl...
Any body knows how to changed?

if you want to give it a different "look" search on Ebay or other sites, I got mine for 2.99 plus 4 bucks for S&H, now it has a black face and black battery cover looks pretty cool, til you open it and see the sissy pink bar... lol now i can scratch it all i want and when i decide to sell it, I will just put the original parts back in

We were looking at phones the other day and the wife really likes the TM150 other than it doesn't have a speakerphone.

I'm trying to choose between the V300 Moto and the TM150, any advice here? The Moto has a speakerphone, costs less, has louder ringtones but I've had poor luck with RF on Motos.

The Sharp is aesthetically nicer, feels more solid, but I don't know about the RF compared to the V300.

hey... where can I get the 1 gig card for TM150 at? like at what stores do they have them, and who makes it, what is the name of it and so on?... thanks

and also when u have the 1 gig card can u put .MMF sounds on there that are bigger than 45MB?

LH2 get the TM150. The v300 was my old phone before the TM150 and i'm so much more happier with the TM150. It's got better reception forsure. Only things v300 was better at was the text msging system was better.

My v300 had a lot of dropped calls and sometimes froze up on me. When I used the phones charger it changed the ring styles on its own... also the speakerphone wasn't too good at all. People I talked to said it had a bad echo to it.

The v300 is a ok phone but TM150 is so much better.

This is normal on motorola phones, hehe.

It defaults to audio when it's on the charger so you can hear it. If you have it on vibration while charging and you're in another room, how would you hear it? i think it's a smart thing.

So did you take apart the top and trace it to make it black? It looks good, i want to do it to mine but i have no idea how to make it look as good as yours. Help!
