I just got my 6620 yesterday and I'm having 3 problems
1. I downloaded the software from nokia.com to add appz and things to my phone.. But it does not work… I can sync it only when I start it from my phone.. ( I'm using Bluetooth not a cable) I cant hit the sync button on the screen of my computer to start it.. There for I cant add apps or anything like that… (is there anything else for syncing)

2. I see a lot of web sites with apps on the internet that say you can download the app from your pone.. When I go to the address on the phone and download the app all I get it a bunch of letters on my screen??

3. is there any way you can use MP3 for ring tones? Or is there any program that I can use that will convert a MP3/wav/wma over to a format that I can use with this phone…?

well the new fw 6620 did disable mp3 ringtones...tough luck

there is an ogg vorbis codec that works well on the 6600, and allows music playback and (i think) ogg files to be used as ringtones.

sorry, i cant remember the name of the player/codec/app but i'll go look for it. if i find the name or a link, i will post back.

with regards to the sync thing, have you managed to get a stable BT connection between phone and pc yet using pairing etc?

be patient, i have heard that on the 6600, different firmware versions work with different oggplayer versions. (just to make it confusing!) so im not sure which one to try with the 6620.

you will just have to find a music converter to convert to OGG format. i think i saw someone mention goldwave

really? how new the fw, mine can play mp3 ringtones
