get data cable, flash metro software onto phone, change your SID and NID codes to the metro codes.

Activate, enjoy

I have a generic data cable.....the problem is that i cannot find the software anywhere on the kyocera forums.....i have a kyocera SE47...the blue kind......i think this was used in Canada....and i would like to use it in San Francisco......with Metro PCS service.....doees anyone know what flash software do I need? and also the SID...or any other extra information that might be helpful.......

I don't know too much about changing carriers but I was informed that certain phones run on different regional systems and there might be a chance that your phone won't respond correctly to your carriers frequencies or data streams. the kyocera rep said that each country has a different system and the US has a west coast and east coast system. don't know how pertinant this is to your problem, but just thought it might be something to check out also.

What i'd do is get a housing for it, bring the phone to a Metro PCS store and tell them you want a firmware upgrade. The'll flash it for you and then you have to do the rest!

You want to flash the verizon slider to metro????? Thats stupid(no offence) verizon is much better than metro.
