got mmc... now what?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I recently purchased an n-gage qd. While waiting for my mmc to arrive I've installed a couple of things via bluetooth to the device memory.

NetFront - got it working via bluetooth thru PC
FExplorer - based on recommendations, but haven't found a use for it yet
MidpSSH - can't get it to fully connect
A couple other games and utilities...

I've been careful to leave some device memory free, I currently have 890k free.

Now that I have a mmc what is the best way to proceed. Should I delete the apps from the device memory and install them to the mmc using the PC suite? Is there a way to move from device to mmc internal to the n-gage?

I remember reading a thread where someone said they kept everything on the mmc except for a couple applications that didn't work well there anyone know that they are?

I guess that's enough questions for now...

Thanks

The problem with moving apps to the MMC from the internal memory is that some apps (i.e. eDoom Series 60) install subfolders into several main folders under C:\System or under C:\Nokia. Unless you want to look for those folders, it'd be best to do a reinstall.

Yeah, I got a little carried away wanting to install things and try them out before the mmc came... I guess it's time to wipe it and start over now.

use it to install apps. put the SIS file in the root of the MMC, open fexplorer, and go from there

Looking for an MMC card that is compatible with a 3650 and an N-Gage QD. Either 1GB or 512MB will do. IS ATP my best choice? Also, where are you guys buying this card from and how much? Thanks.

Well, i checked EBAY for the 1GB cards and there are none in the US (except for 2 from a new member). Any other ideas where to get them?

I'm using a Kingmax branded 1gb card and it works fine with my QD. I got mine with the QD. I saw someone selling this same card on HoFo BST:
