Anyone else get the email from TMO/Danger saying that due to the outage, they will be receivin a $20 service credit?

I figured they would do something like that...

YES! I just got it.. so whats the deal.. 20 dollars off our next bill & they are going to add a free section in the catalog?

I'm pretty pleased with this. The services were only down for a few days and they're pretty much covering a full month's charge. I'll just get $20 worth of games.

Does this apply to prepay users also? Or only post paid users? Thank you

Posted by: GOOSE13

i'm pumped I only have to pay $10 next month

I got really lucky, I just got mine in on Tuesday, it activated Tuesday night (after lots of trouble finishing registartion), and was only affected by the outage for a few hours, but I did indeed get the email. Quite some luck, if I do say so myself.

I would think T-MOBILE would be losing MONEY by providing it on there own... MAYBE both; or just DANGER. ahh I don't care who fronts it.. LONG as I have that $-20.00 + my other credits on my next billing cycle

Posted by: SidekickIIgirl

Yeah o got my $20 and my $5 credit....now I'll have a little more $$$ in my pocket!!!!

I got mine on Monday, wasn't able to get it online or activated until Friday morning and I go the e-mail for credit as well as $10 before that since I called in.

I am pre-pay and got the e-mail. I plan to call on Monday and ask about the credit. Since I am prepay there is no billing cycle to wait for so hoping they give me the credit when I call in.

They should hand out dev keys instead of 20 bucks.

SunCom is crediting for the outage time (i.e. five days out of the thirty day billing cycle) upon request to Customer Care. I got ~$4.

If anyone's still looking for a credit from Fido for the March hiptop outage, I got $20 back after writing the office of the president:

Fido Solutions Inc.
Office of the President
800 de La Gauchetière St. West
Suite 4000
Montréal, Quebec H5A 1K3

Hopefully you can too
