im planning to request a replacement phone from cingular. I saved all the apps on my mmc, would it work still if i switch phones? i know some of the apps have the IMEI of my current phone saved.

Im asking for a replacement phone because of recharging problems. basically sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. anyone having the same problems?

also, is there anything i should do to the phone that i'll be receiving before storing infos and apps in it.. like reformat? i know it'll be a refurbished phone so i want to make sure its cleaned out before i use it.

*** sorry a repost.. just wanted to know the answer before my 14 days to return the phone expires....

no ur aps will not work.. u will have to get a new liscense/serial according to ur new IMEI for them to work.

well if its a refurb, i imagine it will have been formatted/re-flashed anyway. so i doubt you will have to do anything to it before storing stuff, but for your own piece of mind, i guess you could format it.

couildnt really say about your apps. some will probably need to be re-installed (even apps installed on the mmc may have dropped little files on the phone mem as part of the install) and other apps may work straight away. its really gonna be down to you plugging the mmc in and seeing what works.

received a 3600 that cant multi task at all.. the only nice thing about it was that it was cleaner that my original phone. The firmware was 2.1....

im sticking to my old phone...
