Im interested in this phone but before purchasing i want to confirm wether or not it can playback video files from the SD card? Like if i were to convert a simpsons episode into 3gp format would i be able to view it on the phone?

And in general how is the video function on the phone?

you couldn't watch a whole episode, there is a 400K limit on the vids

when you say 400k limit, would that mean it is a limit for recording or is it an all general limit? Like if i were to get somehting bigger then 400k onto the SD?

thx alot for the info.. oh and does it only support 3gp?

Posted by: braindead5400

it only supports 3gp files that are less than 400k in size, it will not allow you to play anything back that is more than 400k

there is no way to get around this limitation?

There is a 400k limit, no way of getting around it, end of story.

You wouldn't be the first who has asked about it or tried to get around it. It's an idea that's been floating around since the GX32 came out, and that was a while ago. So if no one's figured it out by now, that generally means it's not possible.

The only way to get around is to sell Gx-32 and get 902

if it wasnt for this limitation this phone would be golden!

I wanna a 902, I just can't find a decent enough price for one (something under $1000)
