Might be crazy, but yes, it's real. I first heard about these going back to summer of last year. The NY Times had an article on July 8th about 'em, but since it's in their archive now, you'd have to pay to read it. Gizmodo also had a post on the 8th about 'em... If you scroll to the very bottom of the Pokia site, there's a bunch of "Link" links that point to various news stories and whatnot about them.

Ive been using it for two days now and I have to say the sound quality is far superior over any other non-bluetooth headset and some BT headsets. I just have to find some way to ghetto rig it so that it hangs on my belt for easy access. It has gotten me some looks and others have offered to pay me for it.

I don't have a landline in my home, and I hate holding tiny cellphones to my ear to talk, so I use my BT headset almost exclusively. I would LOVE to have one of those Black Pearl wireless handsets to leave on the kitchen counter, though, for when I am at home! Just grab it and mash the button when it rings.

("But you already have a BT headset, why not just use that, or get a landline and a regular phone...." blah blah blah! I'm a gadget freak and I love cool stupid useful/useless shiat like this!
