Hey All
I just got the unlimited t-zones added and I would like to know if recieving email from hotmail or netscape is free or will one have to pay extra for it. I'm not to sure how to set it up either, I tried but it asks for pop3 server , user names, password, and port numbers? primary DNS, secondary, etc. Can anyone tell me how to set it up. I tried setting it up at tmobile.com but when I typed my email adress @ hotmail.com is said a POP3 server is needed. Please help. Thanks in advance.

hotmail and netscape are web based e-mails and can not be added to the E-mail and IM link in T-zones. I know for sure you can still access your hotmail accounts for free, you'll have to add www.hotmail.com as a bookmark and login from there. I've checked with t-mobile to be sure and you won't be charged at all for it.

When it comes to T-Zones, I prefer to use my TM150's native e-mail client (YourTMobilePhoneNumber@tmomail.net)

It isn't what I was referring to, but according to T-Mo, you do get a deduction from your monthly MMS bucket for each picture mail, text message, or e-mail you send through the T-Mobile website.

Considering how much I use the e-mail on my computer, going over my monthly MMS bucket allotment is not a concern for me

I'd advise asking around for a gmail invite and then setting it up as your email address.

First start off by doing what's in my signature... add tzones, register at www.t-mobile.com.

Second then when you input the username use your mobile number colon 1 (for example if your number was 333-555-7777 then you'd use for your username 3335557777:1 and use your regular email password).

Third the incoming/outgoing server will be myemail.t-mobile.com.

Fourth set the email for pop3.

Fifth turn off any security authentication and etc.

Sixth if it also wants an access point or apn then chose wap.voicestream.com or tzones.

Hope this helps.
