S700i > Desktop > Organizer > Notes
Based on what I remember about using my SE T68, the phone's ASCII text files can be zapped back and forth between phone and computer. Should be no different with the S700i or any subsequent SE phone.
".doc" files (those created with MS Word) have proprietary formatting garbage in the file that won't read properly in an ASCII reader.
