Open your screen half way (on a 90 dgree angle) and you should see a small whole there right above the screw. You have to press that together with the power button the device should vibrate if you perform this correctly. You're going to need a paperclip, or something to fit it in the whole.

Note: when you perform a hard reset all of your data will be wiped out of the device. Once you reconnect, you'll eventually recieve everything back.
