hey i was wondering if anyone has the pros and cons of these phones, and what phone you think is better overall. this is for cingular. thanks

S66

Pros:
Large screen
Light weight
Access to OS to modify menu icons
Create your own Themes
Bluetooth
Infra-Red
1.3MB camera
Video camera

Cons:
No MP3 support
A lot of options needs getting used to menu structure
Battery Life

6230

Pros:
Mp3
Bluetooth
Infra-Red
Good battery life (I hear)

Cons:
Small Screen

I am not too familiar with the Sony Ericsson. The S66 comments are from personal experience, but the Nokia comments are from friends that have it.

Nokia has the most features of these three phones.

The other two phones beat the 6230 on screen size.

But the 6230 is pretty darn nice.

Was reading through this, and i used have an S66, but i never knew u can change the icons, cause those icons where horrible, very pixelated, only looked acceptable against a dark background. Can u really change them?

I changed my menu icons so they are smooth.. they look like XP icons. You can also make your own. I love that you can access the phone's system files to edit a lot of stuff.

Will these changing icon programs work with an SX1? It seems neat to have that capability available.

yes as siemens sx1 is a symbian phone many applications will work on it. I used to have them .

regarding the s65 i will say it has a good battery life .mine lasts for 3-4 days on a full charge and after too much tweaking too it lasts for atleast 2 days. I am comletely satisfied.
