Yes!
I've been trying to use AOL IMAP with the P910a for days, weeks....I can SEND emails, but for some reason, I can't receive them.
When I click on "get and send" to check my incoming emails, it shows a progress bar that says "downloading message 1 of 9." (The phone accurately understands how many messages are in my AOL inbox). The progress bar holds for a second at 0%, then it dissapears instantly; as if it can't understand the emails or pull them down from the AOL server.
It looks like a crash from within the phone's architecture, not a problem with aol or att; it looks and feels like a crash.
Are my settings and configurations correct? Any help would be much appreciated.
Does anyone recommend the snappermail program for accomplishing this sucessfully? http://www.snappermail.com/store/
The configurations on my phone are as follows. Let's just say that my name is "Joe Smith" and my email address is "joesmith11@aol.com." Many thanks in advance:
Account name: joesmith11
Your name: Joe Smith
Email address: joesmith11@aol.com
Connection type: IMAP
Internet Account: GPRS
User name: joesmith11
Password: ******
Incoming server address: imap.aol.com
Outgoing server address: smtp.aol.com
Use SMTP authentication: Yes
Use inbox login details: Yes [this automatically fills in the login details: user name: joesmith11 & pass: *****)
Secure connection: No
Outgoing mail port: 25
Use mime encoding: Yes
Incoming mail port: 143
Secure password authentication: No

Tmobile offer free POP3 service, why not use that? Work great on my P900 (even Gmail)

I downloaded it this morning and installed it. I use AOL as well and used the IMAP.AOL.com mail server connection as well. It works perfectly for me. The only problem I had was finding the emails. I could hear the tone when an email came in, but did not see it. I did not know the emails were going into the Messages folder. I even sent attachments to myself and it all worked as intended. I am happy now.

If you got it working, could you post your settings?
Incoming server address, outgoing server address? Port numbers?
With ATT for AOL, I used imap.aol.com for the incoming server address, and pdasmtp.attwireless.net for the outgoing server address, and this worked for a few hours or so..... but now it's suddenly doing the same "freeze" problem. Still can't pull the emails down without glitching....
