Blank Screen

Hey a newbie....
Just my luck, my Telus contract was coming to an end in a few months. But now my Sanyo SCP-5000 (oldie) has blank out on me. For a few weeks the phone would start to freeze. Sometimes when I flip open the phone, the screen light would be on, but the screen would be black. Then I would have to turn it off and close it then open it SLOWLY and turn it back on. And it worked. But today the screen would just be blank.
I need it to work for one last time to get all the numbers and info off it.
Oh yea and the phone still works just not the screen.
HELP PLEASEEE!!!
