Mine is coming Friday morning and I was planning on purchasing the horizontal leather case for it on eBay so it would get here around the same time, but then in various auctions, I noticed it already came with a vertical leather case.

In OTHER auctions still, I've seen the horizontal case included also.

Does anybody have any pictures of what case comes with the Sidekick II right out the box?

I can get a few pics up in a bit. It is a vertical case, and I'm not a big fan of it (got my SKII last week).

That case is OKAY, but I like the horizontal case a lot better.

I put in an order for one today and hopefully it'll be here by the time my Sidekick is.

The case it comes with sucks. The horizontal one is MUCH nicer stitched well and more protective...worth the investment. Also it makes the carry less bulky if that makes sense.
