8490 wallpaper?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Can someone please post the exact size of the 8940 wallpaper that will fit the entire screen. The default ones given, don't fit the entire screen.

Also I'm not a tech savy person. What software does one use to get a wallpaper to a specific dimmension?

Finally are there any sites that offer free wallpaper for Verizon phones.

Thanks a lot.

Okay I was able to successfully transfer wallpaper to my phone's main screen, but not the subscreen. I used the size 128x96 as stated by phone scoop, but no luck. Anyone know how to do it? I would appreciate your help.

need help on this too...if anyone could help it would appreciated thanks

as far as we know there is no possible way to change the subscreen.. ?? i've been searching forever

All I can say is ditch the 8940 and go for a VX8000. Much less hassle than dealing with 8940 as far as support for the phone goes. That is why I left the 8940 because the 8000 has tons of support in the LG forum.

buy a new phone.... great solution. How about not wasting everyones time with stupid responses. Go send a message to LG to praise your new phone.

178x204 "jpg" files fit the full screen on my phone...

You do not have to be as jerk about it. I was only making a suggestion. You could sell you 8940 for about what you can probably get an 8000 for on ebay. So, you just need to chill noob...

why are you even in an audiovox forum if you don't own an audiovox?

O yah I wanna be just like every person in the US and have an LG8000. Give it 5 more months and you won't be able to turn ur head w/o seein an 8000. Us Vox guys wanna be unique! We have more memory onboard and an SD slot. You can't touch that with your 32mb onboard and no SD. HAVE FUN WITH THAT!

Posted by: pshah297

Amen!!! Hail The 8940

Posted by: Cell2Be

Hmm, 32MB, try 55.04 usable. Your sd card slot will only give you so much, I know I have had an 8940 before, remember. By the way, the more people who have the 8000 means the more brains that can collectively hack more stuff on the phone. I would rather have a phone that everyone has that I can USE, than have a phone very few people have that is crippled big time.

I must have clicked the wrong thread.....I thought this was the 8940 wallpaper thread, not the talk ***** about who has a better phone......???

arguing on the internet is fun huh mlathem1?

Posted by: niteplaya2

55.05MB... try 64MB onboard (half system half free) + a possible 2 GIGABYTES!!!!!!! (or 512 MB if you only want to pay 50$) with the SD slot... Go back to the LG board to praise those crappy buggy phones...

Posted by: Cell2Be

2 Gig, not even, that phone does not support anything past 512MB on the SD card. Plus you can have unlimited memory, but it does not do anything more for you than get more mp3's on there. Picture storage, to upload to the computer is out of the question. Plus, can you load you OWN pic the the outside screen,,hmmm...
