Final verdict on BM LG 5550 & cable downloading?

After reading lots of posts, it appears that sounds and photos can't be downloaded via cable to Bell Mobilities LG 5550 (unless I missed something). Has anyone been able to do this? If so, please tell me how or refer me to a post that explains it. TIA
