Please help. I just bought a NEC N840 from Hong Kong. How can I unlock the phone for using it in USA - San Francisco? After I put in my SIM card, it just keep saying searching on the phone.

it's already unlocked friend, but you have to go in and switch it from 900/1800 to 850/1900, then you'll have no problems!
