I just got the 3200 for my g/f and was wanting to upload midi's and mp3s, and pix. I have the VX6000 w/ the cable, so the 6000 cable works w/ the 3200 also. I have both versions of bitpim, 7 for my 6000 and 6 for the 3200. I installed the future dial drivers for the 4400 drivers....i asume it works w/ the 3200. But when i load bitpim 6 it cant connect. I have the 3200 set to "data in always". Dont know if that is really needed but i read in the tutorial it was. Does anyone have any solutions to this?? i really want to be able to upload ringers and pix to this phone. Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

You need to use ver. 7.18 and above. Ver. 6 is for the 4400 ONLY as it is stated on BITPIM's web site. The prolific driver is the same for all newer phones, but you need to set bitpims pref. to other cdma phone and you can only work with the filesystem to add and delete ringers,wallpapers.

I use 7.14 with my wifes 3200

search the posts, for all settings info and trouble shooting, I was one od the first to this on the 3200 for ring tones, way back last summer

you have com port problem, eithr speed setting or something else

and i belief i have bitpim set for the 4600 for use with her phone
