Uhh... Yeah. You don't need the Kyocera software to upload ringtones and wallpapers, you just need GAGIN (or BitPim)

you should get one from ebay. I got mine for 5 bucks that plugs into the USB port. it doesn't charge while it's plugged in but it gets the job done. it came with the drivers and the programs you'll need to transfer data is either bitpim or GAGIN. both of which are floating around the forums.
