I just purchased a 1GB Mini SD card from SanDisk.

It hasn't arrived yet but before i open it, so i could still return it, does the MM5600 support the 1gb model?

I noticed in the manual it said 16mb-512mb*, but i don't know what the star meant and i noticed at SprintPCS.com accessories for my phone Sprint was selling the 1gb version.

According to Sanyo, it can. If you go to Sanyo's website and download the complete instruction manual, it has been updated to include the 1GB MiniSD card.

Where did you buy your 1 GB card? Price?

Yes, your manual was likely printed before the 1 gig models were in retail. I have a SanDisk 1GB miniSD in my 5600 and it works brilliantly.

How many song can you put on a 1 GB miniSD on a 5600?

depends on the size/length/type of song...i have roughly 250 songs plus videos....

has anybody tried the 9000 with the 2 gig mini sd card yet? i've got one coming in the mail but i dunno if it'll work. lemme know and if not i'll let u guys know.
