I called Moto and RIM in Dec. '04 and both said that there was no update and no indication of when an update would be available.
It would be nice, but not a deal killer for me.

NTP just settled their lawsuit with RIM a week or so ago.
While that lawsuit was in progress, no US wireless carrier or phone manfacturer was even thinking about BlackBerry Connect because they could have become part of that lawsuit.
