What is the default wap addy for mobile web? I finally got mobile web on my account, and I would like to change the homepage to the default one that verizon has set up.
Also any suggestiosn of any other good wap pages to use?

I also notice that using mobile web isn't deducting from my mins, how long does it take before it shows up as mins used?

Wirelessly posted (:laughs:: LGE-VX7000/1.0 UP.Browser/6.2.3.1.174 (GUI) MMP/2.0)

If you hit menu then 0 enter the password 000000 then go down to wap settings. When you get in there i believe there is a reset just click on that and it will default to the verizon homepage. pink

My mobile web stopped working a few days ago and just displays the message "network down", I finalled called into, and data tech support keeps on telling me that I have to change my value packs because it is incompatable therefore upping my package up to $13 which I find not acceptable at all. I thinki that info is some BS, he just wants me to pay more a month, anyway im on hold right now trying to get this fixed.

I see you have the 8000 like me. My Mobile Web worked at first but it didn't after I ported my old number over. I called up the data people at VZW and they fixed it. You should call them and then they will have you dial *22899 and it will update your phone. Trust me, it works, I use it now. As for minutes, my mobile web doesn't deduct from my minutes either and I've already been billed and I sure would have had overages if it deducted minutes. They will say it won't work unless you get the $15 VCast plan, but tell them it'll work because it does.

Actually the problem was with my audio 9900, which kept on saying network down, after an hour in the store, the manager finally gave up on trying to fix it anymore, she gave me a choice between the V710 and VX800 as a replacement. . So no use of mins? sweet

Yeah, none for me. It's a package few CSRs know about, so you may want to try the mobile web during peak times and wait a few days and if they minutes don't show up, then it's airtime free. I have confirmed this with a CSR too.
