man almost every company has a slider phone now i was looking up slider phones and i noticed that nokia has one and so does samsung i think the samsung slider looks good and has some pretty good features what do u think?

The kyocera se47 and the future KX5(Slider Remix) are much more slick and stylish than the samsung sliders.

yeah - but the Siemens SL65 slider puts them both to shame I think. smaller/sleeker and more features (better screen, integrated antenna - that kicks butt, trimode, camera, ALL BLACK). I used one in Europe.

not unless they shrink it. that thing is huge and really has nothing more than the Simens SL65. I mean, who needs an MP3 palyer in a phone. I have an iPod for that already.

WE don't even know how big it really is yet. All we can judge by are pictures! Even if it is how the pictures make it look, thats not a big phone for all it has cramed inside it.

yes, you have an ipod for mp3's, but I have a digital camera for pictures. I have a gameboy and a PSP for games. the whole point of having so many things in one device is that it's handy. take pictures when you want to. listen to music when you want to. a phone is nice, and an ipod is nice, but would you really need both if one device could do both?

and the slider remix has been shown to be bigger no doubt. but it's weight increase from the SE47 is negligable and the increased size is due to it's larger and might I add, better, screen. the only reason it's bigger is that people wanted a bigger screen. and if you've seen some of the product pages on it, the ability to hook up a game controller or to speakers to play music is phenomenal. yes, some of the other phones are nice, some of them are smaller, some of them look nicer, but we can all agree all of those features are trade offs for others. they could make a tiny cell phone without a screen, but who would buy it? you all need to take a step back and see all these seperate cell phones for their abilities and what makes them stand out.

P.S. if any of those "cool" phones have ****** carriers, that makes them just as ******. if you can't make calls, you're phone is just an ugly paperweight.
