Hi,

Looking for some help/I have never seen anything like this . . . my v800 is a coupla days old. Out of the blue there's nothing/it's dead. Tried recharging; the only thing that happens is the 3 LEDs on either side of the lens started blinking. AND, one of them is now green. There is absolutely no sign of life except for the LEDs!

Hoping for a miracle,

Did you try to unlock / flash the phone by using Credit unlock / flash? If yes then you forget to do "shut off FS".

Doesn't the V800 have 1 year manufacturer's warenty? I got a leaflet called "Service and Support" that I can scan in and email to you if you want it..

I'm in the USA. I don't think SE will support my phone until it's actually being sold here (such is the case w/Nokia); I'll call them to verify.

In the meantime, the company from whom I bought the phone has exchanged it for me.

Thanx all for your help!

If any of you are still around, thanks again and check this out! While my dead phone was in transit I emailed the merchant and noted that flashing wasn't offered on their site . . . but if they could I'd gladly pay. No answer. I receive the replacement, turn it on and get SE logos, no Vodafone in sight!! Now that's customer svc . . . a factory unflashed phone was sent to me!!

Thanks again for the offers of help!
