I've looked through the manual and searched this site for the answer to this question:

When entering certain types of text on the s710a it will not let you access certain symbols. How do you get around this?

For example, I'm trying to set up my gmail pop3 access:

In the mailbox field I would like to enter my.user.name@gmail.com, but the phone does not give me the option of the "@" symbol when I push the one key, nor is there any "more" softkey at this stage for me to push to pull up the larger list of symbols. What can I do to enter this symbol?

I know the field can take it, because some of the pre-programmed mail accounts have an @ symbol already in that field...even though if you delete it there is no way to get it back.

I also had the same problem entering an _ at some other part of the phone...can't remember where atm.

Please help!

Nevermind....the "0" key had it.

Spent hours looking for it last night...thought I had checked the 0. Figures I get to work and a co-worker finds it in like 30 seconds.
