i'm planning to change the housing on my t610 for a new look, and this idea came up, but I wonder if it is possible.

there are a few phones out there which has this reflective thing, where if the phone is off, the screen would act like a mirror, and if the phone is on, w/ the lights on, the lights would pass through, and you wouldn't see the mirror anymore.

Now, what causes this? is it just some kind of reflective coating or film that is put onto the screen? can I buy this somewhere and apply it to my phone?

what do you guys think?

any ideas?

I know of certain kinds of screen protector where that effect is achieved. But if you go to certain japanese car product stores, they also sell car tints that I'm sure can be modified to fit a cell phone screen. There is also a spray kind that you can try to look for.

ahah iuse my k750 as a mirror sometimes. dont kno what cuases it but its cool. lol
