Can't connect to BREW from cricket Audiovox CDM8900

I have an Audiovox 8900 camera phone through Cricket wireless. I would like to download ringtones and stuff. But when I go to BREW, it says UNABLE TO RETRIEVE CATALOG. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER. I am new to this and really need some beginner type help please. what do I need to do. I have a USB CABLE to download pictures from my phone to the computer but thats about it. Please Help
