QPST: Phone not showing loaded Ringtones

Here's the deal...
I found a MIDI file to use as a ringtone, got QPST to work, loaded the MIDI to my phone via QPST, backed-up and deleted "mmsRingerIndex.map", then rebooted phone and ringtone works fine.
I decided I want different ringtones as well. Loaded them to my phone in QPST, I saw that there was another "mmsRingerIndex.map" created, so I deleted it again. Rebooted the phone and this time the new ringtones don't show up.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any expertise you can offer.

You should use Bitpim instead of QPST and why are you deleting the ringer index?

I read it in a tutorial. I thought Bitpim seemed harder
; plus how do I now which version is the best for my vx6100? I see tons of newer releases coming out that aren't fully debugged...) seems like a lot of coding as well.
Anyway, maybe I should suck it up and switch. Can you recommend a good tutorial for it?

I use the newest version of bitpim which just came out and I havent had a problem yet and bitpim is alot easier to use then QPST and it's alot safer for your phone. Im not sure where to get a tutorial, You can try searching this forum or check out the vx6100 and vx6000 tutorials on the main page. I dont think you will have any problems using bitpim it's really simple to use.

I used OPST to take stuff off the phone (easier as I can select a large number of pics, vids, tunes, or tunes to remove at once vs. Bitpim requires you to do this one by one) but I use Bitpim to install these same items on the phone (so I dont have to delete any of the .dat files as it does this automaticly).
That's the easiest for me at least.

Bitpim would be better as you can use the ringer tab to directly upload the files rather than through the filesystem
