I just bought a cable from E-bay for my VM slider...the CD came with GAGIN & BitPim....in BitPim(the 1 i am trying to make work) when i go to Edit>Settings what phont do i use to do this?...also the CD came with Kyocera Wireless PST and this is not working because I cannot get the phone SPC--where do I get that...if anyone knows ANY alternative I would like to start using my product ASAP....HELP

When using BitPim, select LG 6000. Also, make sure the phone is in data mode. Also, be very careful with how much you load on there or you will kill it like I did.

just make sure the driver is set up. you can get the lastest bitpim for free from their website. I don't feel like searching for it but google it or search the forums for it. the lastest version can be set to other CDMA phone and that'll be fine for the slider. you should also load a version of GAGIN as gagin seems to be able to connect to your slider better. get both. open gagin. select the port your phone is on. then after it's connected to your phone, close it and open bitpim right away. don't touch anything else and just go to the directory search. click the little + button and it should open up all the folders. and I don't know how to use kyocera PST but I've never found a need to so no worries.
